A lifelong resident of the Bloomington-Normal area, Laura lives with her husband, Michael, and their children, Graydon (11) and Margaret (9), along with their two black cats, Bonnie and Rosie. When not in the office, Laura enjoys hiking, gardening, and anything that connects her with nature. She cherishes "family dinners" with close friends, singing at church, and traveling with her family.
Laura is deeply committed to her community. She serves at HOPE Church, volunteers with Safe Harbor Shelter, and supports the YWCA McLean County. Her dedication to service extends to her professional leadership roles, including her time as Vice President of Development for the Leadership Illinois Board and her involvement with the Bloomington-Normal Young Professionals Kiwanis Club.
